2015 holds not one, but TWO, BIG projects for my business. If you’re a wedding planner, wedding florist, or a florist of any kind that has struggled with quick pricing of florals, then what I have for you coming soon is going to be a GAME changer!! I’ll be announcing this exciting info on the blog in hopefully a few weeks with info on how you can get your hands on it! I’ve been wishing and hoping to come to this project, and it’s finally in the works! I just can’t wait to share more info! All I can say is that it involves a software developer ;) The second project involves breaking out my college major – interior design, but that’s all I’m saying for now ;-) Can you guess what my two projects are?!
Because of these two MAJOR projects, I won’t be scheduling any more of my fabulous Wedding Floral Workshops until either fall 2015 or Spring 2016. Bummer — I know. If you’ve considered an intensive two day workshop with me to learn everything you need to know – hands on – including a styled shoot, now is the time, there are only TWO seats left for the January 25-26th workshop! For more info & to signup here!
Here are some shots from large scale pieces we’ve created this year! These floral canopies are gorg!
This first one was from the very last floral workshop in October, shot by the always-super-fun Rachel May! I instructed the designers and they all created this fabulous piece and it was their very first time! …and how gorgeous are those velvet curtains from Anthropologie!?
This design was SOOOoooOO fun to create! This was the shoot in which my sister and her boyfriend were modeling — who actually proposed at the end of the shoot! EEK! So, for the canopy, I wanted the flowers to SURROUND them when they were standing underneath and inside the structure. All the flowers were suspended from above and hung down around them, it was amazing! Image by Katelyn James
This is Katelyn James’ little sister Emily’s wedding back in May at Big Spring Farm. Don’t you just LOVE this crazy floral treatment on the doors (Doors by my girls at Paisley & Jade)?! .. yup, you’d learn how to do that at the workshop!
…I look so serious! … Katelyn snuck a photo of me!
All floral design pictured by Amanda Veronee’s team – except any workshop designs created by attendees!! :)
